Kaleidoscope Comedy is a cooperative comedy group based in the Maryland, DC area. We also have offices that serve the Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania areas. Our mission is to bring great comedy to venues everywhere, at a great value. Our policy is for everyone to win. When it comes to comedy shows, we want the venue to attain great value for itself and its patrons. We see all of our shows as a partnership between the venue, our organization and the performing comics on our shows. This philosophy gives all parties involved the best opportunity for a successful and enjoyable experience. Our goal is building it as a long term relationship, not just a one stop deal. We look at each comedy show as an event planner. We are there to help and advice from beginning , we will help find a venue and supply sound if it is needed.Like a Kaleidoscope, our comedians are diverse and colorful. We tailor our shows for your audience. We offer a variety of genres, ranging from improv to impersonations and from PG to Adult humor.
Kaleidoscope’s comics are both established national acts, as well as some of the hottest up and coming comics. The Improv, Caroline’s in New York, the Tropicana in Atlantic City and Vegas Strip are just a few of the venues you can be entertained by our comics. We are available for booking comedy shows any night of the week and at any type of venue. Restaurants, bars, nightclubs, lodges, colleges, community centers, and even private functions are just a few examples of venues where we have organized events.We currently operate successful regular shows at 6 diverse venues in the Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia area: The Riverboat on the Potomac in Colonial Beach, VA, Esquire Lounge in Baltimore, The Varsity Lounge in College Park, MD., Martini’s Lounge in White Plains, The Rustic River Grill and The Old Bowie Grille’s entertainment hall. We also produce shows for many local American Legions, Moose Lodges, and other organizations.
Kaleidoscope Comedy is also very committed to giving back to the community. There is Kaleidoscope Comedies own charity “Courtland’s Choice” dedicated to raising money for animal friendly charities, such as Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary, Compassion over Killing and the Avon Breast Cancer Walk. We have organized fundraising comedy shows for the VFW’s “Comforts from Home”, benefiting soldiers overseas, the Cottage City Fire Department, the Kiwanis’ Car Seats for Kids program, The ARC of Montgomery County, Gaithersburg Hospice care, and other great charities.
